RIP Christina Grimmie
22-year-old pop star who appeared as a finalist on The Voice in 2014, has been shot dead at a concert in Orlando, Florida on June 10, 2016
According to reports, Christina was signing autographs with band Before You Exit at the Plaza Live Theater, when a man approached her and shot her before taking his own life. Witnesses say that the singer's brother, Mark, bravely tackled the shooter to prevent any further harm, but the shooter then turned the gun on himself. The shooter's motive and the question of whether he knew Christina is a mystery. It's believed he was in possession of two guns at the scene of the tragedy.
Adam Levine, who was Christina's mentor on The Voice, took to Instagram after hearing of the shooting to say that he is "sad, shocked and confused", adding, "We love you so much Grimmie."
